The First Friday Club of Greater Youngstown is an organization of Catholics which sponsors a monthly luncheon speaker series, providing an exploration of Catholic teaching and religious thought on the spiritual, theological, moral, and social issues of our time.     

The next program will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, with lunch at 11:30 am and the program at 12:00 pm. The speaker will be George D. Beelen, PhD, Retired Professor and Chair of the Department of History at YSU, “Glimpses of the Holy Land”.
